Three Maps Lab 1

Map 1 UK Traffic: This map is really cool because it shows live time updates of traffic around the London area. These traffic rates are shown by line color. Red being the slowest yellow being medium traffic and green being little to no traffic.

Map 2 Creative Classes in the United States: This map shows the percentage of people who are in the creative class within a given area. This map is cool because it shows the density of creative classes, a term coined by Richard Florida, in different region of the US.

Map 3 Crime, Trees, and Cabs: This map shows the locations of crime, tree, and cabs in a given area via the the use of different colored dots. This map is cool because it shows the spatial distribution of crime, trees, and cabs and can be used to make inferences about the relationships between crime trees and cabs.
